More Inside Framing

Back of house

East side of house with all the windows cut out.

1st picture - walk in closet of 1st bedroom upstairs. 2nd picture - walk in closet of 2nd bedroom (hmmm, I mean "office" if the Grant County inspector is asking) upstairs.

Trusses meeting overbuild framing above great room at the edge of loft.

Dining room window and French doors off Dining Room

Great Room....Love the Big Window

The first picture shows looking through the bedroom closet into a gap in the bathroom wall where 2 studs were left out to allow the entrance and installation of a 1-piece fiberglass tub/shower. The right picture is looking through the bathroom door at an angle into a linen closet that will be off that bathroom and adjacent to the other bedroom closet.

Framed in pantry in the kitchen. Notice the cubby framed in on the left at counter height. That will have a cabinet door cover and serves as a shortcut for the toaster to pass back and forth through onto its shelf in the pantry.

Second Bedroom Upstairs.

Working on framing the upstairs bedrooms.

Dustin back bracing the bathroom wall that intersects the bedroom.

First picture - Up stairs storage space. Second picture - Looking through the bathroom, still installing back bracing by upstairs bathroom.

Picture taken from landing on the stairs.

Roof Almost Done

What are we going to do with all that rock?

We Have Water

Today Tim, the guy drilling for our well, hit water. He hit water at 80 feet, but then continued to drill to 120 feet. Tim told Dustin the rig drills through boulders the size of cars. I told Dustin I would love to see what the earth looks like that far down.

Roof Sheathing and more Trusses

Here is a picture with Mike and Dimitry working on our front porch, and the boys watching on the aerial lift. The boys thought it was pretty fun to be lifted on it.

Looking out the upstairs windows. You can see part of the lake.

Looking downstairs from the loft.
