Putting Trusses Up

We hired Vasilha (or Mike) and Dimitry, 2 Ukrainian brothers. They are laying out all the trusses, sheathing the roof, Facia, and Rain Gutters. We are glad they were able to come work for us and how quickly they have gotten everything done.




Anyone need rock? We have TONZ.

Trusses Are Here

The Trusses arrived from Central Washington Truss out of Ellensburg on July 24, 2008. One step closer to finishing the house. The boys enjoyed watching them lay the trusses along the roof.

Second Floor Walls and Stairs

This is a picture of the side of the house. You can see the garage opening.

This is a picture of the back of the house. The covered porch is on the left.

The picture on the left is a beam that weighs between 700-800 pounds. Dustin and 2 other guys put it up. It is to carry the trusses that go over the garage door.

We were all excited when we finally got stairs! Dustin built them and the boys were all excited to go up them to the second floor on top!
